Is it possible to have flowers delivered to an airport gate area?
Specifically, to have them delivered to someone who is waiting to board the plane. Im going to be waiting for them at their destination, but thats too cheesy.

Yes, I would think it is possible as long as the delivery guy knows where and when the person will be there at the gate and have the delivery person hold the name of the person. but I am not sure you can leave it there with someone for your significant other to pick up or receive, for more information, call the air port or the air line. for verification.

The only people who are allowed thru security are airline/airport employees, passsengers, or people with gate passes. A few people are allowed gate passes but it’s only really given to people meeting unaccompanied minors or if someone is meeting a person with a handicap and the passenger’s record has to be already noted. I guess you could check with the airline to see if an employee would be willing to meet the flower delivery and the employee would send it to the gate. I wouldn’t call reservations though. It would be best to go to the airport and talk to a manger to see if it can be arranged. If you’re meeting your loved one at a large international airport I would doubt they would arrange that for you as it’s very busy. However if your meeting them at a smaller airport where they only have five flights for that airlines a day they might be more willing to help you out. Also remember no liquids are allowed to go thru security so if it something in a vase it’s not going to be allowed thru no matter who you talk to.
